Fossil Fuel a bad habit

“The un fortunate thing about this world is that the good habits are much easier to give up than bad ones” by W. Sumerset Maughman. This is a wise quote. Often we decide to stop doing the right thing and go for the easy solution of keep on the bad habits; change is hard; perhaps the key is to take baby steps. I’m worried about the oil spilled all over the Gulf of Mexico, could this be our wakeup call? What would we do when there is no more fossil fuel in the earth?

different kinds of natural eco-friendly energy sources. I get upset when I hear on the radio about the senators not willing to vote on the bill that will help our country to do research on these matters. And what about work for people building solar panels for houses, business and schools.  We need to get with the program of remodeling houses with solar panels and modifying cars so they can use cooking oil that restaurants use for French fries, doughnuts, chicken and many more types of fry food we buy from restaurants; I recently saw a documentary on the” Discovery channel” about some people already buying used cooking oil–$1.50gal– from restaurants’ and use it for fuel on their already–$2000.00– remodel car engines. These are some of the examples I have already seen happening in some areas of the country, but these ideas are not being supported by our government. There could be a lot of new jobs for the construction people remodeling houses to be more energy efficient, and cars, we don’t need to buy more cars; we just need to readjust the ones we already have to be energy efficient. Maybe I am just a dreamer, how can we change the mentality of many generations? I know bad habits are hard to brake, but I have fate in our country, and I hope we will soon start taking baby steps in educating our country and lead the new generations to good eco-friendly energy.
